  • Free admissions can be purchased by filling out this online form. People entitled to free admission who request access with people who have a paid ticket can book at the same time as the other tickets using the usual sales channels. We inform you that:

  • From August 6, 2021, in order to visit the museum, in compliance with government regulations for all Italian places of culture, it will be mandatory to show a valid “Green Pass” (COVID-19 green certification), together with an identity document. The provisions do not apply to children under 12 years of age and exempt persons with specific medical certification. Read more
  • Reservations will open every two months (from Thursday, September 23rd  10 a.m. reservations will be open until October 31, 2021)
  • To guarantee everyone a safe visit the visits last 15 minutes for a maximum number of 26 people at a time
  • The names of the participants in the visit must be inserted before the payment of the ticket. In exceptional cases a change of name may be made if the person indicated at the time of purchase is unable to attend the visit by clicking here within 24 hours before the date and time of the visit.

Opening time

For the duration of the health emergency the Museo del Cenacolo Vinciano will be open at reduced opening times:

From Tuesday to Saturday:
from 8.15 am–7.00 pm
(last entrance 6.45 pm)

Sunday:
from 2 pm–7.00 pm
(last entrance 6.45 pm)

Closed on Mondays and on January 1 and December 25
(unless otherwise indicated by the superior Ministry for Cultural Heritage and Activities).

Services

Active services:
• Lockers with keys at the ticket office. It is forbidden to enter the museum with any types of bags or baggage. Use the special lockers to deposit them before the visit.
• The bookshop, where you can find books and objects inspired by Leonardo ‘s work at the exit to the Museum.

The following services are currently suspended:
• The audioguide rental is suspended.

Accessibility

The visitors’ route through the Museum of Leonardo’s Last Supper is accessible to people with motor disabilities.
There is a tactile model of the Last Supper inside the Refectory.
In collaboration with the non-profit Associazione Nazionale Subvedenti, the Direzione regionale Musei Lombardia has produced an audio description of the Last Supper certified according to the guidelines of the DescriVedendo project, which you can download here or listen to on the app.

For the duration of the Covid emergency, it will not be possible to use the tactile model of the Last Supper located inside the Refectory.

The temporary grouping of businesses (RTI) made up of Verona 83 with Giunti publisher for editorial services and Ad Artem for cultural assistance and hospitality services for the public is taking over as licensee for services of ticketing, cultural assistance, merchandising and publishing.

Exactly 40 years ago, from 1 to 5 September 1980, the fourth session of the UNESCO World Heritage Committee was held in Paris, at which the Complex of Santa Maria delle Grazie, including the church and the Refectory with the Last Supper painted by Leonardo da Vinci were added in the List of World Heritage Sites.
