On Monday 21 February, at the Museum of the Last Supper, the press had a preview of the restoration of Donato Montorfano’s fresco of the Crucifixion in the refectory of Santa Maria delle Grazie and the mural paintings adorning the west wall, miraculously spared by air raids in World War II. Visits to Leonardo’s Last Supper will go ahead normally.
