An exciting and at times adventurous story, narrated in images through large reproductions of archival photographic material of the Fine Arts and Landscape Commission for the City of Milan and digitized thanks to the support of Epson Italia, enabling us to appreciate Leonardo’s work even more and with a new gaze.
On the premises of the Museum of Leonardo’s Last Supper, historical photographic reproductions will be exhibited to document the main events that marked the history of the Last Supper during the 20th century.
The rich photographic heritage, preserved in the archives of the Ministry of the Cultural Heritage, offers the opportunity to recount the history of the Museum and the work from the early 20th century until 1999, the confusion of the most recent restoration work, passing through the traumatic events of World War II.
