The additional new tickets for the days of March 1 to 3 and all tickets for the week of March 5 to 10 will be made available on Wednesday, February 28 at 12 noon, only on the online sales platform (https://cenacolovinciano.vivaticket.it/) and only for individual visitors (a maximum of 5 tickets will be available for purchase).
Given the positive results of the monitoring that the Museo del Cenacolo Vinciano has carried out in recent months together with the Politecnico di Milano, regarding the increase – started on January 2, 2024 – of visitors in two entrance bands at each hour, the second step of the experimentation is therefore now being launched, which plans to extend the number of visitors allowed inside the refectory in all the museum’s opening hours (8.15 a.m.-7 p.m.)
Tickets put on sale Feb. 28 also include the day of March 3, the first Sunday of the month with free admission. As usual for free admission days, please note that reservations are required and that groups will not be accepted, nor will services such as guided tours and workshops be available. It is also forbidden to conduct professional guided tours.
On March 8, however, on the occasion of International Women’s Day, admission to the Museum will be free for all female visitors. Also for this date, tickets will be made available on Feb. 28 at 12 noon: reservations are required for all ticket types.
Following this, additional tickets for the following week will be made available for sale every Wednesday at 12 noon.
At this still experimental stage, it is essential to observe the utmost punctuality and adherence to the timetable and procedures for entry and visit. We therefore renew our request for cooperation from all visitors for this.
– It is necessary to hand in the payment receipt at the ticket office located next to the museum entrance, compulsorily showing up at least 30 minutes before the visit, otherwise you will lose your admission right.
– Once you have collected your ticket, you must go to the Museum entrance at least 10 minutes before the visiting time.
– It is not possible to enter the Museum with bulky bags or luggage. It is strongly recommended to leave them at home or at the hotel: at the ticket office there are, for emergency and while availability lasts, some lockers timed according to the duration of the visit (max 60 minutes): no. 30 lockers size 30x45x32 cm no. 8 lockers size 25x36x32 cm no. 8 lockers size 25x36x66 cm no. 1 locker size 82x33x80 cm no. 1 locker size 40x33x80 cm
– Please also note that it is prohibited to bring flasks and bottles containing liquids inside the Museum.
– Since it is not possible to re-enter the museum spaces once you have left, in case you leave luggage or bags inside the lockers, it is recommended that you bring everything you need for the visit and for any purchases at the bookshop.
– Once the visit to the refectory is over, we kindly request that you do not stop inside the museum exit filter zones, but head quickly to the courtyard.
