Yesterday, shortly after turning 95, Pinin Brambilla left us.
She was tenaciously active until the very last. She was the true heroine in the transformation of a profession that changed profoundly during the 20th century.
In this way, too, her work on Leonardo’s Last Supper was epoch-making.
With true affection and gratitude, all of us who work for the heritage of the Regional Museum Directorate say farewell to the true Lady of the Last Supper.
